Spotlight On (Birthday Gift for CoGreen)
Spotlight on! Observe and gaze at the scenery
Island, plane, film lot, sea
All Stars, Revenge, Action, the best
All suited for a spectacular drama fest
Spotlight on! The host grins boldly
Though the words that come out of his mouth register coldly
He instructs a fairly large cast to compete with might
Then sits back and watches them all get into a fight
Spotlight on! Romance has fluttered like dust
On this island it’s be liked or play sneaky or bust
Making it to the merge is easy, everything else is cheesy
Because everyone is cutthroat and nothing’s easy peasy
Spotlight on! Four winners have stood grand
The kind mama’s boy, the aura-reader of the land
Then there’s her lover boy, a ginger with grit
Finally the gentle surfer girl who never threw a fit
Spotlight on! It’s all a part of the fun, it’s all for the viewers
They eat it all up as though it’s chicken skewers
A million dollars is on the line, who can resist
Leading to the latest season, a test to see who can persist
Spotlight on! This show’s going really far
Everyone who came out of it has emerged a star
The game that will forever change everyone’s fates
Welcome to reality T.V, Total Drama awaits.

So this is a birthday gift for a DA artist and writer who has completely captivated me with his incredibly well-written Total Drama series. Not only have his winners been among my favorites (Like Dawn and Scott) but he has introduced us to spectacular OC's, unique story-lines and relationships, and has been fair, creative, and incredible in the scale of challenges, resolutions, and elimination orders. His series is where my first official OC Giselle is currently competing in his latest season (Revenge of the Island). As a thanks for all the entertainment he has provided not just me and to others and to celebrate his birthday, I dedicate this poem to him.
