Description

Original Meme:

Original: www.deviantart.com/art/50-Char…

Made for me by: Merryrruawz9898

I would like to once again thank my dear friend Merryrruawz9898 for making another meme for moi. This has always been one of my FAVORITE memes as you get to show your love and appreciation for many characters. Many well-developed, distinct, fresh, funny, kind-hearted, powerful, and above all lovable characters. So these fifty have made it for all those qualities and how much of an inspiration they can be. I don't want to go into detail on all the characters like I did with my 20 Cutest Character Meme (As it would make the description WAY too long) so I decided to summarize my reasons why for the first 25 characters on this list and then be more specific with the top 25. Hopefully it works out ^_^.

Reasons:

50. Coraline Jones (Coraline): Resourceful and relatable

49. Sakura Oogami (Dangan Ronpa): Noble with a heart of gold.

48. Spike (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic): Supportive and charming.

47. Stefano (Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted): Optimistic and lovable

46. Ryuuko Matoi (KILL LA KILL): Values her friends and learns from her mistakes.

45. Karma (League of Legends): Strong-Willed and mystical.

44. Snoopy (Peanuts) Always reminding us that 'Happiness is a Warm Puppy'.

43. Mahiru Koizumi (Super Dangan Ronpa 2): Stands up for herself and is aware.

42. Pinkie Pie (MLP: FIM): Full of surprises and jovial.

41. Senketsu (KILL LA KILL): Loyal with a well-developed Personality.

40. Beatrice the Golden (Umineko No Naku Koro Ni): Legendary.

39. Rena Ryuuguu (Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni): Formidable fighter yet amazing friend.

38. Anna (Frozen): Bubbly and Determined.

37. Fluttershy (MLP: FIM): Element of Kindness.

36. Nico Robin (One Piece): Brave and mature with a deadly yet graceful power.

35. Rise Kujikawa (Persona 4): Spunky and cute with a desire to protect her friends.

34. Stacy Hirano (Phineas and Ferb): Has a great sense of humor and is an incredible friend.

33. Tony Tony Chopper (One Piece): Versatile fighter with a warm heart.

32. Vivian (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door): Incredibly sweet and cute.

31. Ella (Total Drama Pahkitew Island): Had a memorable elimination and was also genuine and appreciative.

30. Filia and Samson (Skullgirls): A surprisingly complex duo with Filia being gorgeous and sweet and Samson being protective if loud.

29. Nutty (Happy Tree Friends): A bundle of fun.

28. Nami (One Piece): Playful and someone who knows what she wants and will do her best to get it.

27. Tomoe Mami (Puella Magi Madoka Magica): Very elegant and kind-hearted but showed amazing development in Rebellion and Different Story.

26. Amy Rose (Sonic the Hedgehog): Determined but wants the best for her beloved Sonic.

25. Giselle (Enchanted): Enchanted is a film that I feel will never get the merchandising it deserves due to a number of factors (Namely Amy Adams and Giselle's likeness to her) which is a shame because it was a great film. Giselle in particular was a really innocent and pure-hearted woman who really developed from the same kind of dreams that previous Disney heroines like Cinderella and Snow White had (Which worked for them but is FAR different in the real world) and made her own happy ending. But she was able to bring her own fairy tale magic and positivity to the real world to with her fashionable talents and overall radiant personality. Definitely my second favorite Disney character.

24. Louis (Ice Age: Continential Drift): Louis was QUITE a surprise. I mean the only issue with him was there was no explanation as to why he was friends with Peaches and no back-story on where he came from or his relationship with the others (Manny, Eddie, and Crash calling him 'Weiner' being the only hint). but it was clear he was really close to Peaches and would've done anything for her. He also has a really lovable timid personality but is willing to do anything to protect Peaches and his friends, showing incredible resourcefulness in that regard as well. Not to mention he is very adorable in his expressions, his crush on Peaches, and his overall demeanor.

23. Dawn (Total Drama Revenge of the Island): Dawn is truly intriguing. She caught the eye of the fandom from the beginning and became one of it's most lucrative characters only to end up eliminated early, and after an episode where she barely had any screen-time to boot. Why? It's because of how ethereal and interesting she was. She read and understood people for a living and seemed mystical and even as though she held special powers. Not to mention her elimination showed she had great potential for the game as she tried to save herself with the fake Immunity Idol. She even tried to help the others, even the team that eliminated her. In a sense, Dawn has a lot of untapped potential and we can only hope she returns to use it.

22. Olaf (Frozen): Another surprise, I think Olaf easily is my favorite 'sidekick' of recent Disney movies (Beating over even Pascal). Besides his incredible voice, he is just an amazing comic relief character in how he moves, behaves, and says. For a creation of icy magic he has a great understanding of morals and true love. Without him, saving Elsa and later Anna would have been impossible and I just think he's a brilliant character.

21. Twilight Sparkle (MLP: FIM): Twilight has garnered a great deal of respect and has caught my attention through her portrayals in the fandom and of course the show. She has a really great voice, is confident, intelligent, enchanting, but also is a character that is learning and is eager to learn. She thinks outside the box to solve problems that stand before her, gives her all for her friends and family, and changes and grows. She is a perfect example of a main female protagonist in that she inspires and is someone people can relate to.

20. Miss Piggy (Muppets): Not exactly the best role model, seeing how she is quite demanding, quite the diva, and quite… aggressive. But she's always been my favorite Muppet. She's fashionable, feisty, definitely not passive in achieving her goals or getting what she wants, but is also incredibly hilarious. For being one of the most level-headed Muppets she often can cause quite the conundrums and wackiness herself.

19. Handy (Happy Tree Friends): I've talked a lot about him as well as others on this list in my previous meme but I will go over it one more time. He is very selfless, building wonderful things to please his friends or even to help with a situation, and is very resourceful for an amputee. He does have some depth to him in that he can show no care at times to his friends when they die or are injured but has shown concern before. I just find him to be well-developed and quite cool.

18. Sakura Kinomoto (Cardcaptor Sakura): Little did I know that the 'Cardcaptors' I saw on Kids WB was my first taste of anime or magical girls for that matter. Sakura Kinomoto (Sakura Avalon as she was known there) is a very sweet and positive girl. She realizes she has let out forces that could cause harm or disruption to her daily life but easily adapts to her duties as a Cardcaptor and handles it with grace, a happy view on life, and her usual clumsiness. From her incredible array of Tomoyo-designed costumes to her growing power, we see her grow and develop her relationships with her old and new friends and family more and more. Seeing as this was before deconstructions like Puella Magi Madoka Magica where the magical girl role gained new meaning and ground, Sakura is a perfect magical girl for the young at heart and a great heroine.

17. Squigly and Leviathan (Skullgirls): Another great duo from a great game. Both are polite and well-mannered with an acute knowledge of the situation and the problems plaguing New Meridian and use their knowledge to warn and advise and prevent catastrophe. Squigly (Or Sienna Contiello) is a bit more understanding and less cold than Leviathan with a graceful and poised demeanor while Leviathan has a keen sense of humor and is fiercely protective. Both make for a tragic story with a lot of heart and their fighting style is also particularly riveting and exciting to watch.

16. Rafael (Rio): Maybe not the most expected choice but Rafael just has such a great philosophy on life and appeared to be the father figure for all his friends. 'It's what you feel in here' speaks volumes I feel to a lot of people and he has a wonderful way of talking and a wonderful view on life. Not to mention he's pretty funny in both his relationship with Eva and some of his antics. In Rio 2 he had a slightly smaller role but was still the same lovable King of Carnival and clearly outgoing and open-minded. I just find him to be a great character.

15. Furudo Erika (Umineko): Erika is the perfect blend of HILARIOUS with an actually dangerous and clever adversary. Her whole 'This reasoning is possible for Furudo Erika', love of chopsticks, and extreme measures of keeping tabs on people and places has made her equally as legendary as characters in the series who had been there from the start and thus she debuted very well. Her cruelty towards the others makes us hate her, her unfortunate and rather unsteady situation with being Bernkastel's piece makes us sympathize with her, and overall she was a really incredible character and villainess. Truly the Witch of Truth.

14. Alice (Alice in Wonderland): The classic Disney heroine, the classic girl in the blue dress with the white apron, the classic. Alice is and will always be my favorite Disney character. She is just so well-mannered and curious and fun, speaking in such a proper way and trying to deal with situations in an understandable way but with things not going her way. But all in all she's true to herself and sweet and innocent. I just loved the way she carried herself through Wonderland and she also has a pretty nice voice. Alice indeed will always carry on as the girl who fell down the rabbit hole.

13. Phoenix Wright (Ace Attorney): Watching playthroughs of Ace Attorney on YouTube made me realize how amazing the series is. It's funny with compelling and intriguing characters, shocking and sometimes sad plots, and incredible locations and elements. Phoenix Wright has indeed proven to be the ideal attorney and ideal protagonist to root for throughout all the games. He has an amazing if withheld sense of humor, trust in his clients, a strong moral compass, incredible wit and resourcefulness, and never losing his cool or taking his emotions out on other people and trying to comfort them. Mia Fey taught him well.

12. Mankanshoku Mako (KILL LA KILL): I feel that Mako is a very love or hate kind of character. Some people say she was VERY annoying and out of place and took away from the action-packed drama and intrigue of the story but to be honest she really added to it and also balanced it out. She was like Pinkie Pie in a sense with her 'Hallelujah' moments, antics, but also her desire to see her friends happy and for them to be themselves. But she was also clearly capable of seeing the bigger picture and was willing to fight with all her might to help out Ryuuko-chan and the others. Not to mention she truly was HILARIOUS and put a smile, or a look of complete bewilderment, on everyone's faces eventually. A perfect example of a great comic relief character.

11. Teddie (Persona 4): I've also described why I love Teddie in my previous meme. In a sense he's an impressively developed character with compassion and care for his friends but is always up for having fun and being a bit silly. He has great power that he earned by accepting himself and even when he discovered he was a Shadow, he became his own being and took it as part of what made him special. Plus in Arena we see that he has gained a lot of wisdom and is able to be quite responsible and have exceptional discussions, even with strangers.

10. Ushiromiya Natsuhi (Umineko): Natsuhi is just incredible, incredibly developed and incredibly powerful for being a low-ranked member of a very tense but powerful family. She has been burdened with so much from being taken away from her old family to become a Ushiromiya, her 'sin', the way she's mistreated by the members in the family (Namely Eva), and that her husband fails to give her the acknowledgement she wants. But regardless of this, she holds an amazing amount of respect for her family and truly wants to protect it's honor and reveres in her new family name. Not to mention she is rather beautiful and holds herself with dignity and brings a ray of hope that the Ushiromiya family isn't a complete mess of bad people. Not to mention the harsh ordeal she went through in End of the Golden Witch where everything she had was tarnished and taken away from her leading Battler to step up and defend her successfully. As Battler said, 'Natsuhi oba-san is pure and faithful!' Furthermore Natsuhi is quite strong on her own and though seems severe, is really a kind-hearted person.

9. Mioda Ibuki (Super Dangan Ronpa 2): Barely missing out on my last meme, she now makes this one. Ibuki is just a fabulous but also really friendly character. Her third person, her unbridled joy towards everything and everyone, her 4th wall breaking, and her music… Yeah, that music. Ibuki by far was the most optimistic and most upbeat of the Super High-School Levels on that island (Besides maybe Souda or Owari). Not only that but Ibuki also was a very sweet student at that. She's constantly looking out for the other students well-being, she tries to help Hinata figure out what his talent was and gives him some really meaningful advice, she does her best at the School Trials, and that was what made her death really, really sad. I believe she should've been one of the survivors (Especially instead of Owari) but she did make it quite far, to Chapter 3. Plus she truly left an impression that none of the survivors will ever forget.

8. Ushiromiya Rosa (Umineko): Poor Rosa, hated mostly by people for how she behaved towards Maria and was the 'Best Mom Ever'. But truly, I think Rosa is quite underrated. If you really think about her life, she had a pretty traumatic past. She was always bullied by the other siblings, accidentally and tragically killed the Kuwadorian Beatrice and could never repent this, her husband left her with Maria, and overall she has had a life that has beat her down to the point that she refers to her situation as a 'hell' in Dawn. Overall Rosa's been definitely the most gentle and less ruthless of the siblings on the outside but it's clear she is as fearsome and cunning as they are. In Turn, she uses the 'Wolves and Sheep Puzzle' style logic and she completely KICKS BUTT. She stands up to the intimidating goat servants of Beatrice to incredible effect and shows true strength. Also it is confirmed indefinitely that she truly loves Maria. The reason why she is on here though is that the possibility has been raised that she may very well be the culprit and Beatrice. In a YouTube series called 'Umineko Chiru Explained' by KnownNoMore, he discusses a Rosa/George/Nanjo culprit theory with Rosa acting as Beatrice. This makes surprisingly good use of the information from the novels and the anime and is indeed a possible theory to the catbox. This has developed Rosa to the point of being a very interesting and powerful character.

7. Courtney (Total Drama): Like Rosa and Mako, Courtney has been infamous for being a love and hate character. In recent times, Total Drama All Stars shattered her character with Sunday Muddy Sundae. Though I will stay true to the idea the writer's did this to her and not Courtney herself and no matter what, Courtney will always be my favorite Total Drama contestant. A very aggressive individual, Courtney has taken the game very seriously though does follow the rules, especially considering how some of her eliminations seemed to bend the rules a bit (Especially in Island where Harold sabotaged the votes against her). But why Courtney has stood out so much to me is a combination of her beauty, her independence, her competitive spirit, her strength, and how funny she turns out to be. For such a serious, preppy character she often causes a lot of humor on her own be it through wanting the tape back in the confessional or not being used to 'Heroic' acts of friendliness. She has always had some amazing confessionals and I just find her to be really cool for a girl who knows what she wants and will give 110% to get it. She's relatable and always seems to be one of the funniest characters.

6. Yukiko Amagi (Persona 4): The Unconquerable Snow Black. The Priestess Arcana. The girl who cannot stop laughing once she starts, Yukiko has always been such a charming and lovable character. Yukiko is the heiress to the famed Amagi Inn in Inaba but can't help but feel this wasn't up to her and wants someone to take her out of her situation. But once thrown into the T.V world and viewing her friends, including her very best friend Chie Satonaka defeat her Shadow, she accepts her Shadow and gains Konohana Sakuya. From then on, Yukiko proves to be a very elegant and graceful but also very intelligent character, proving to have good theories and helping immensely with the murder case. Although there's of course her goofy side, where she has laughing fits at some of the most inopportune times. In a sense, 'an endearing character trait'. But I always liked how Yukiko could be serious, she could be elegant, she could be talkative, she could be silly. She had such a well-developed personality and demeanor and easily was one of the most memorable characters of the game.

5. Celestia Ludenberg A.K.A Taeko Yasuhiro (Dangan Ronpa): OMG, Celes was such a fascinating and incredible character. I mean the way she carried herself was very reminiscent of Alice from Alice in Wonderland and I just loved how she was in her own little world and behaved so fancifully yet practical towards everyone. The Super High-School Level Gambler, Celestia has no concept of 'defeat' as she has never lost a game and thus is one of the most intelligent students right from the beginning and stresses to the others they should 'adapt' to their situation. I just loved how she was so whimsical but also showed that she could flip out and lose her cool that and her awesome Gothic Lolita look and design was just perfect. The 'Taeko Yasuhiro' complex she had was also interesting as she was seemingly a plain girl who came up with 'Celestia Ludenberg' as a more interesting character to become. In Chapter 3, the stage was hers as she proved to be a calculating culprit but was found out. The way she takes her loss is humble and elegant and it's rather sad to hear that she dreamed of a lavish castle with vampire butlers… yeah she had quite the imagination too. Her Execution is also quite exciting and overall, Celes just brought such a spark to the cast of Dangan Ronpa and has so much depth that's it rather crazy.

4. Rainbow Dash (MLP: FIM): I have mentioned she's my favorite pony so thus here she lies. The reason why I have adored Rainbow Dash is mainly how much she has grown. In the first season she was reckless, a bit selfish, still a cool friend though with a determined spark in her eye, high energy, and a dream of becoming a Wonderbolt. In season 2 she showed great consideration and kindness to Fluttershy in Hurricane Fluttershy and Applejack in the Last Roundup and has her usual good qualities and flaws. In season 3 though, she becomes closer to realizing her dream than ever before and became the big sister figure that Scootaloo would appreciate more than ever. I believe she has continued to do so in season 4, even though I haven't seen much of the episodes though I did see the Daring Do episode and she was AWESOME in it and I was happy for her to meet the idol she loved so much in books. Speaking of books, I love how Dashie has been able to develop new interests while retaining to the spunky, go-getting, ready for anything, 20% cooler, and valiant personality that made her the Element of Loyalty. So with that, Dash has earned her place.

3. Madoka Kaname (Puella Magi Madoka Magica): Whereas Celes is like the 'Gothic Lolita' of the anime world (In my eyes) Madoka is the 'Sweet Lolita' of the anime world. I always loved her Puella Magi form as it's so KAWAII but it's her personality that stands among all Puella Magi's. When you finish the series, you come to the conclusion that amongst serious Homura, elegant Mami, selfless Sayaka, and compassionate Kyouko, Madoka was actually the most mature out of all of them. In the past timelines she never succumbed to territory battles with other Puella Magi's nor did she succumb to despair. She was responsible, incredibly kind, and selfless, sacrificing her life to defeat Walpurgis Night and leading the events of Puella Magi Madoka Magica to go the way they did. Even in the current timeline, while she is the one who has to watch from the sidelines, she is certainly very sweet and caring of her friends. This soon results in her magnum opus, wishing to erase all Witches from time with her own two hands, and becoming Ultimate Madoka. She recreates a new world and the Law of Cycles. While in Rebellion this falls apart because of Homura, Madoka's kind, brave act and overall optimistic personality in the face of great despair and great odds makes her a true goddess and heroine.

2/1. Candace Flynn and Perry the Platypus (Phineas and Ferb): OMG, this was a big reality check. Originally these two were going to be tied for third and fourth until I realized they are the first characters to usually come to my mind when I think about animation. Thus they instead tie for the number one and two spots. These are my two absolute favorites from Phineas and Ferb and now are my absolute favorites of all time.

Candace is the spunky, hilarious, melodramatic, but also loyal and impressively dependable big sister of Phineas and Ferb. While many see her as just someone who wants to bust her brothers we've been shown a lot of depth from her. She has a very successful and meaningful romance with Jeremy, it's been proven she's been secretly proud of her little brothers all along, she sometimes feels insecure about her own accomplishments, she often realizes when she has made a big mistake and sets out to fix it, and in general is a really lovable character. Her hysterics and incredible singing voice tie it all together as she's proven to be a very well developed character who I truly adore.

Perry on the other hand is the seemingly 'doesn't do much' platypus who is the pet of Phineas and Ferb. In reality he is the semi-aquatic egg-laying mammal of action Agent P. He works as a secret agent for O.W.A.C.A (Organization Without a Cool Acronym) and has one of the best frenemy relationships ever with his nemesis Dr. Doofensmirtz. Perry has shown incredible patience, a swagger, potent fighting abilities, resourcefulness, care and loyalty towards Phineas and Ferb, and an amusing sense of humor. Also if you really think about it, his situation is as complex as that of anime characters. He has to hide his identity as a secret agent from his owners due to the rules of his organization and by now has had to live with the fact that this has happened before and his owners had to lose their memories of the event (Though had a meaningful adventure and acceptance from them before this occurred). It would be really neat to see how this has affected Perry as I would imagine it causing a sense of guilt in him. Though seeing how he has developed an incredible willpower and carried on as always, it seems as though he's quite strong. I really wish that Perry and Candace's relationship could get some development as I feel that such a relationship has a lot of potential since they both share some insecurities (Though more 'potential' insecurities in Perry's case) but Stacy learning about Perry's secret identity is a start. I also find it very touching as this gives Perry some hope that his identity can be learned about and not hinder anything.

And with that, this is my '50 Character Meme'. I will not have Honorable Mentions as this is already QUITE a big description. I hope you enjoy and I hope this inspires you to do this meme too.
